Short Bio

I am Ulisses Araújo Costa - اُلِيسّْش - 奧利斯　哥斯達, I’m 23 years old and I’m at 1st year of my Master’s degree in Formal Methods and Cryptography and Security of Information Systems at University of Minho. I have a BSc in Computer Science Engineering in the same University. I live in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. Formal Methods and Cryptography are really two of my big passions in Computer Sciences. At the moment I’m IBM DB2 Student Ambassador were I’m learning a lot of DB2, pureXML, XPath, XQuery and a lot of other technologies, at this group I’m also participating in different activities.

I’m also Vice President of CAOS (Open Source Support Center), that’s a non profit organization that support developing of Open Source in University of Minho. Maps of services in a distributed system

this project is included in the research I am doing at the University of Minho in the Distributed Systems group, with duration of one year. My job is to find a way to identify specific links between a user and a distributed system. The general idea is to draw a map of services in a distributed system. I decide to do all the work in Haskell, because it was the only language I found that have a complete framework to parse network packets without C.
